The Overcoming Silence campaign calls for positive reform of the male church hierarchy to bring women into decision-making roles - at local parish level right through to the Roman Curia. Our ACTA Theological Consultant, Prof.Tom O'Loughlin of Nottingham University sent this link to me, confidant that all ACTA members would want to know about it and that that many of us would want to use the resources or sign up to the campaign.

The information and resources are very well presented by Voices of Faith and are a great help for any of us who care about the issue of how women are treated in the Church. Many orders of religious sisters have published this campaign on their website - also many male orders. Catholic Women Speak and Prof. Tina Beattie are strong supporters.
